I have been in Weedon for nearly 10 years, having lived in a number of villages in the area since 1959. I did actually set up the mobile library service in the village, when we had 6 stops a fortnight!! I worked for 45 years in library and information services, later also dealing with tourism and country parks.

I was a parish councillor in Nether Heyford for some years, and since coming to the village have been involved with the Neighbourhood Plan. I have a keen interest in village life and am particularly keen on local history. My other interests include gardening and transport, travelling widely on local buses.

I was also for 25 years a contributor on inns and pubs to the Good Pub Guide!!

As I have long retired, I am now able to devote more time to help with all aspects of local council work.
