I lived in Bedfordshire before moving to the village in 2016. Phil (my husband) and me wanted to downsize and move to a quieter and less busy area. Weedon Bec, with its local amenities, good road connections surrounded by expansive countryside, was the choice. It proved to be a good decision and we both wished we had moved to the village earlier. After working for many years as a Registered Nurse, I have recently retired. I work a few hours a week for a local charity.

I have always been community minded and decided to join the Parish Council. It provides an opportunity to work together with other councillors to ensure that Weedon Bec continues to be a friendly and safe place to live.
