Croft Way playing field is owned by Weedon Bec Trust but is on a long term lease to Weedon Bec Parish Council. The field is also known locally as Top Park. The field is located behind the Village Hall with the main barrier/maintenance vehicle entrance off Croft Way. For walkers, you can gain access around this barrier on Croft Way, from the Village Hall end and the Whettles footpath which runs behind the houses on New Croft. The field is mown regularly during the season and inspections on all the equipment take place monthly by the Parish Councillors and quarterly/annually by an independent contractor (currently Wicksteed playgrounds).
There are bylaws which apply to the area which consist of No golf, no horse riding or the driving of motor cycles/motor vehicles - without prior approval - applicable signage is erected around the site.

Litter and dog bins are within the field and emptied weekly. The village litter picker is present at least three times in a week.
