Recruiting; Leader roles and helpers for all sections always required.
Anyone over the age of 18 can volunteer for a role, applicants would need to undergo an enhanced disclosure barring service check and be able to give their time voluntarily to help run the sections weekly in term time and some occasional activities at weekends. These roles help to shape the youth of the area with skills, activities and gaining badges in practical, social and citizenship.
Training: For all Leader roles full training is arranged and paid for by Daventry District Scouts.
Volunteering at Scouts is a rewarding way of helping your community and a means of enhancing your CV, personal development and wellbeing. So, if you think you would enjoy working with children, these could be the perfect roles for you – just get in touch to get involved.
